19" Shock Mount Rack Case

Packhorse Case offer three methods of shock mounting 19" rack equipment as standard.

These rack cases are designed not only to protect 19" rack equipment against knocks & drops but also to remove the constant vibration encountered when being trucked. Packhorse was the first flight case company to introduce the 'tuned' anti-vibration mounts used in the construction of these shockmounted racks which are design to remove the vibration frequencies present in general road transport.

Inner shockmount steel rack frame The deign of the shock mounted rack cases is based on a steel or aluminium 19" rack mounting frame to which the anti-vibration units are attached. This sub assembly is then inserted into the case, usually of a 'double lid design'

Whilst these shock mounted racks are available in all of our standard sizes we are perfectly happy to produce custom rack cases to customers dimensions and designs when required.

of double door design Castors are usually add either to base of each case or on taller racks the wheels can be mounted on the rear to aid stability when being pushed around.

We also offer hundreds of rack accessories including 19" panel either plain, vented or pre punched with connector holes or cooling fan fixings. Rack drawers and keyboard drawers ,shelves with telescopic runners are also available.
