Jack from The Spartans took delivery of a flight case for the new love in his life - his brand new shiny Fender Stratocaster.

As a friend of mine (well hopefully he is since I delivered his guitar case) I thought it only right to give his up and coming band a mention - you saw them here first !.

The Spartans are a 4 piece band that have been playing together since July 2007. There 4th Ep is now up on myspace! Check the songs out come let them no what u think! They will always reply!

They are from the Bucks, High Wycombe area. They play indie /Alternative/Rock, with Tony Goff on Vocals and Guitar, Dayne hector-George on Bass, Jackson Stockbridge on guitar (shiny Fender Strat now !!) and backing vocals and Andre Sinclair on drums.

Spandau - Rack Cases

We’re reforming the band - Spandau Ballet are back with a new album and tour.
One of the best live acts and a great bunch of lads are hitting the road again and Packhorse flight cases are on the tour.

Whilst many of the band have their cases from previous tours, the infamous Lionel who is responsible for sorting the lads out called Packhorse with a request to call over to rehearsals to sort some new cases out. Whilst there, it was noted that Gary (Kemp) still likes to use his original guitar rack cases, in fact they even got a mention in his auto biography.

The rack cases snapped here at rehearsals by Sam (many a photo with heads cut off) Robinson shows the two shock mounted guitar racks that have been used since almost day one, in fact I delivered to Gary’s house so he could load them up. Still loaded and still going well after travelling the globe for the best part of 20 years and set for another world tour.

We wish you all well and look forward to seeing you all in Birmingham - a night not to be missed, you can check out Spandau’s tour dates here.

From simple rack mount cases with no foam or shock suspension, through foam suspended inner racks to welded rack frames shock mounted within the rack case itself.
