Foam Properties and Features

We know that every component has different protection requirements, and with our wide range of foams, each with it's own unique properties we can select the most appropriate types of foams.

Correctly chosen foam lining offers shock absorbing and vibration reduction controlled by the densities and thickness best suited for your application.

We then internally line your flight case to offer the best protection possible, each piece cut to shape on our CNC foam cutting facilities. Materials used include:

• Plastazote foam
• Etha foam
• Polyester foam
• Silicon rubber
• Natural rubber
• Neoprene or Nitrile rubber
• Carpet
• Fabric
• Phenolic resin
• Glass fibre
• Paint

Materials can also include properties such as anti static, conductive, heat resistant, flame retardant and waterproof.

 

 

 

 

Internal drawers and compartments are also foam lined or fitted with machined inserts when required ensuring total protection for your equipment.
