Kawasaki Superbike Flight CasePackhorse flight cases first made their entry into the sporting arena when teams from the ‘fastest car chase in the world’ contacted them.

In the early days it was the Lotus F1 team mechanics, after seeing Packhorse flight cases at a Status Quo concert contacted Packhorse to design and build flight cases for everything from gear ratios and tool kits to entire cars. After the following race meet other F1 teams called asking for flight cases for their kit.

Within that season every F1 car on the grid had it’s spares, timing and test equipment along with every thing else in their ‘garage’ protected in flight cases from Packhorse. At the same time all the F1 engine suppliers from around the world, including Cosworth, Honda, BMW, Renult and Ferrari were soon using Packhorse custom engine flight cases along with the tyre companies and the medical team.
