Our History
Packhorse was founded in the 1970s by friends of Status Quo, with our first workshop shared with the famous band. From those early beginnings, we began manufacturing flight cases for touring acts, helping protect equipment on the road.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, we built our reputation supplying flight cases for established touring artists and productions. Music and live events remain an important part of our work, but our experience has always extended beyond entertainment. Over the decades, we have manufactured cases for a wide range of applications, including motorsport, military and scientific and technical equipment.
